Divyansh Kumar Pal built the NoGuns app as an IAP and Ad Supported app. This SERVICE is provided by Divyansh Kumar Pal at no cost and is intended for use as is.

This page is used to inform visitors regarding my policies with the collection, use, and disclosure of Personal Information if anyone decided to use my Service.

If you choose to use my Service, then you agree to the collection and use of information in relation to this policy. The Personal Information that I collect is used for providing and improving the Service. I will not use or share your information with anyone except as described in this Privacy Policy.

The terms used in this Privacy Policy have the same meanings as in our Terms and Conditions, which is accessible at NoGuns unless otherwise defined in this Privacy Policy.

Information Collection and Use

For a better experience, while using our Service, I may require you to provide us with certain information, including but not limited to User’s age, User’s gameplay activities (such as number of times game is played and what buttons are clicked by the user), It contains surveys that collects user opinions for improvement of the app, It contains in app purchases, It contains Ads provided by Admob and Unity Ads. Some of the information mentioned above is collected automatically by the app. Apart from the service providers listed below, I do not sell or share this information with any third party.

The app also collects the following information to run its online features:

Player account: when you open the app, it signs you in with Unity Authentication, which gives you an anonymous player ID. You can choose to link your Google account so your progress is kept when you change phones. The Google sign-in is handled by Google and Unity; my servers only receive your Unity player ID, not your Google password.
Player name: the unique name you choose, when it was created or last changed, and the IP address it was created from (used only to stop people from registering large numbers of names). After a name change, your old name stays reserved for you for 30 days. Names of players who never finish a match are released after 30 days without opening the game.
Game progress: your XP, kills, deaths, matches played and won. It is stored with Unity Cloud Save and on my server, and the game servers confirm your match results so progress can't be faked.
Friends: your friend list, friend requests and the players you have blocked. Your friends can see your name, your rank, whether you are online, and which server and room you are playing in, so they can join you.
Friend chat: messages you send to your friends (typed text or quick chat messages) are stored on my server so they can be delivered when your friend is offline. A conversation keeps its last 100 messages for up to 30 days, and is deleted when you or your friend removes the other as a friend or blocks them.
Room and match chat: messages in a room's lobby and during a match are passed to the other players in that room by the game servers and are not stored after the room closes, unless they are part of a report.
Reports: when you report a chat message or a player, I keep the report, the reported message as it was written, and the last chat lines of the room as you saw them, so I can review it and take action against players who break the rules.
Technical information: your IP address is used to connect you to the game servers, to pick the server with the lowest ping, and to limit abuse (too many requests from one address).

Chat Safety

Friend chat is only possible between players who have both accepted each other as friends. Messages are filtered automatically for offensive words, but no filter is perfect, so you may still see content that you find inappropriate. You can report any message or player, and block any player: a blocked player can no longer send you friend requests or messages. Please never share personal information such as your real name, address, phone number or passwords in chat. Players who abuse chat may have their messages removed, their name released or their access to online features taken away.

Where Your Information Is Stored

My name, friend and chat service and my game servers run on Oracle Cloud servers in India and Germany. Game progress is also stored with Unity Cloud Save. The information is kept for as long as you have an account, except where a shorter period is mentioned above.

Deleting Your Information

You can remove friends and block players at any time in the app; this also deletes your conversation with them. To delete your player account, including your name, progress, friends and messages, email me at divyanshk86@gmail.com with your player name, and I will delete it within 30 days. Reports you made about other players, and the messages in them, may be kept after that to keep the game safe.

The app does use third party services that may collect information used to identify you.

Log Data

I want to inform you that whenever you use my Service, in a case of an error in the app I collect data and information (through third party products) on your phone called Log Data. This Log Data may include information such as your device Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, device name, operating system version, the configuration of the app when utilizing my Service, the time and date of your use of the Service, and other statistics.

Cookies

Cookies are files with a small amount of data that are commonly used as anonymous unique identifiers. These are sent to your browser from the websites that you visit and are stored on your device's internal memory.

This Service does not use these “cookies” explicitly. However, the app may use third party code and libraries that use “cookies” to collect information and improve their services. You have the option to either accept or refuse these cookies and know when a cookie is being sent to your device. If you choose to refuse our cookies, you may not be able to use some portions of this Service.

Service Providers

I may employ third-party companies and individuals due to the following reasons:

To assist us in analyzing how our Service is used.

I want to inform users of this Service that these third parties have access to your Personal Information. The reason is to perform the tasks assigned to them on our behalf. However, they are obligated not to disclose or use the information for any other purpose.

Security

I value your trust in providing us your Personal Information, thus we are striving to use commercially acceptable means of protecting it. Information sent between the app and my name, friend and chat service is encrypted (HTTPS). But remember that no method of transmission over the internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure and reliable, and I cannot guarantee its absolute security.

Therefore, I strongly advise you to review the Privacy Policy of these websites. I have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party sites or services.

Children’s Privacy

These Services do not address anyone under the age of 13, and the online chat features are not meant for children. I do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. In the case I discover that a child under 13 has provided me with personal information, I immediately delete this from our servers. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact me so that I will be able to do necessary actions.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

I may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Thus, you are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. I will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the date at the top. These changes are effective immediately after they are posted on this page.
